Restaurant Rooftop and Vertical Gardening Workshop: June 16th

Back in January I posted that I was part of a series of urban permaculture workshops happening in the Inner West.

The time has almost arrived so I thought I should let you all know a little more about what I will be talking about and working through on the day so you can decide on whether you want to come along!

WHAT DO I LEARN?:

Heaps! First up we’ll talk about designing and setting up nutrient cycles and choosing a system that will work for you, whether you are a restaurant or a residence.

We’ll talk about gardening in confined spaces and making the most with the space you’ve got.

Crop selection

Dealing with pests

Irrigation

I’ll walk you through the Timbah nutrient cycle from the kitchen to the roof and back and then we’ll make a couple of vertical garden planters that you can easily make yourself with basic tools and everyday items

There’ll be a heap of other stuff covered so if you’re a chef with some space out the back or a wall or a rooftop, why not book yourself or one of your employees in?
